We hope for Anime Club to be a fun place where people who enjoy watching, reading, and drawing anime and manga can hang out with others who feel the same. It's part of Japanese culture and we would like you to participate in the small amount that we can bring to you!

Eventually we will have field trips and the like planned and mini parties at people's houses to get in more anime-watching and hanging out.

Also, there will be certain days of club for paper star lessons and drawing days where *Cruel-One and ~SapphireClock will guide interested members in drawing in the anime/manga style.

Yep. ;D

And hopefully we'll have more pocky and Ramune next week.
(Please remember to give the bottles back so we will continue to be allowed to sell it...)

We will have one soon!
Manga and magazines are being donated for members to check out- rules are as of yet undecided, but don't worry, we will make things as easy for you as possible.

If you would like to donate, let us know so we can flip through and make sure it's appropriate. For those that would like their manga back at the end of the year, that's fine. We will have a list of everyone and the books they let us borrow to give back.

Contests:

We will be holding weekly art contests! One day this will include literature pieces, but for now it's just the standard art.
There will be prizes as well! (Just small stuff for now, probably free pocky or something of the like. After some donations we will have more money to get stuff for you guys.) HOWEVER. There must be at least THREE separate entrants for anyone to get anything. So encourage your friends to enter! And that person you don't even know! It's much more fun when more people participate. ;]

Please...
-Draw in the anime/manga style (while we appreciate realism, this is an anime club)
-Give your work a title
-No pieces that violate PG-13 standards
Inking and coloring is preferable, but not required.

For this week's contest, we are asking you to draw something based off one of your favourite quotes! It can be from a manga, an anime, a book, a movie, a television show, poetry, even something you and your friend said. Basically anything you want as long as it means something to you and it is three sentences or less. We have to read these, you know. (And it's school appropriate; you know the drill.) Fanart or original art is accepted. So are multiple entries from the same person, so draw your heart out. ;3
Please bring a copy of the quote (and hopefully where it came from, but not necessarily) with you or your entry will be disqualified. And that would make us very sad. D;
Contest entries are due September 9th!!!
